Cap and Gown Information

All graduates must wear dental school academic attire. Graduates are responsible for ordering their own cap and gown from Willsie Cap & Gown.

The deadline to order is March 20, 2009. Orders placed after March 20th will be assessed a $10 late fee.

The fees are as follows:

Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene - $27.00 (Graduate get to keep their attire.)
Doctor of Dental Surgery, Master of Science and PhD graduates - $34.00 (Graduates get to keep their cap and tassel only. Gowns and hoods can be purchased for an additional fee.)

Caps and gowns for DDS, MS, PhD candidates and faculty can be picked up in the Registrar's Office (room G226). Bachelor in Dental Hygiene caps and gowns can be picked up from Lisa Dodge in room 3066. Time and date to be determined.

DDS, MS and PhD gowns and hoods must be turned in IMMEDIATELY following the ceremony. Representatives from the Willsie company will be at Hill Auditorium to collect them after the ceremony or in room A on the third floor of the Michigan League during the reception.
